Vermox suspension is highly effective against pinworms or threadworms – the most common type of worm infection in developed countries. How to Use

Oral Use
Adults and children 2 years or older

Ascariasis, trichuriasis, ankylostomiasis and mixed infections:
100 mg twice daily for 3 consecutive days.

Enterobiasis:
100 mg as a single dose repeated after 2 to 4 weeks.

Taeniasis and strongyloidiasis:
Adults:
Children 2 years or older:

200 mg twice daily for 3 consecutive days.
100 mg twice daily for 3 consecutive days.

Warnings

Not recommended in the treatment of children under 2 years.
Not recommended in pregnancy or breast feeding.
Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrose-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine.
Methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoate may cause allergic reactions which could possibly be delayed.

Side Effects

• May cause diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort or flatulence.
