Collagen cannot be vegan, being an animal product. However, collagen contains 19 amino acids, of which L-Glycine, L-Alanine and L-Glutamine are essential for the formation of skin collagen, which occurs by fibroblasts, cells that produce collagen and restore tone to the skin.

Collagen Vegan contains a high percentage of these amino acids (plant-based) and can therefore achieve the same result in a purely vegan way.
