For Retinol beginners, gradually phase retinol into your skincare routine. Start with 2-3 uses a week for the first 3 weeks, working up to daily use as tolerated.
You may experience redness, a warm, tingling sensation or flaking. These are normal, temporary indications that the formula is working. If effects cause discomfort, limit use to once every other day until your skin adjusts. If the effects persist, discontinue use.
Retinol is not suitable for use during pregnancy.
