Fresubin® 5kcal Shot is a very high energy fat emulsion with long and medium chain triglycerides. For the dietary management of disease related malnutrition, short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of malnourished patients, dysphagia, proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistula.

Indications
Fresubin® 5kcal Shot is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for the following indications: For the dietary management of disease related malnutrition, short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of malnourished patients, dysphagia, proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistula.
Contra-indications
- For enteral use only
- Not suitable for children under 3 years of age
- Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition

- Should only be used under medical supervision
- Suitable for energy supplementation only - ensure adequate protein and micronutrient supply
