NICORETTE Fruit lozenges use dual layer technology. As the lozenge dissolves, it delivers therapeutic nicotine to help relieve your cravings and other withdrawal symptoms. The tutti fruity flavour is also gradually released to provide you with a long-lasting fruity taste.

One 4mg lozenge should help you calm each craving, whether you’re reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke or quitting altogether. And you can use up to 15 of them a day, for up to nine months.

How to Use

For adults and children aged 12 years and over. Do not chew or swallow the lozenge. Place the lozenge in your mouth and allow to dissolve. Use 1 lozenge when required, usually 8-12 lozenges per day. Do not use more than 15 lozenges per day. Read the information leaflet carefully before use.

You are more likely to quit smoking when using this product with help from your pharmacist, doctor, a trained counsellor or a support programme.

Warnings

• Hypersensitivity to nicotine or to any of the excipients of the lozenge.

• Children under the age of 12 years.

• Those who have never smoked.

Side Effects

Certain symptoms which have been reported such as depression, , irritability, anxiety, increased appetite and insomnia may be related to withdrawal symptoms associated with smoking cessation. Subjects quitting smoking by any means could expect to suffer from headache, dizziness, sleep disturbance, increased coughing or a cold.

The active substance is nicotine. Each lozenge contains 4 mg nicotine (as nicotine resinate). The other ingredients are - lozenge core: mannitol (E421), xanthan gum, Tutti Frutti Flavour (contains traces of sulphites), gum arabic (E414), sodium carbonate, anhydrous (E500)(i), sucralose (E955), acesulfame potassium (E950), magnesium stearate (E470b) - coating: hypromellose (E464), Tutti Frutti Flavour, titanium dioxide (E171), sucralose (E955), microcrystalline cellulose (E460), potassium aluminium silicate (E555), acesulfame potassium (E950), polysorbate 80 (E433).
