Sterilisation: Before first use and after each menstrual cycle, boil menstrual cups in water for 5-10 minutes or use the steriliser provided according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Hand washing: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the menstrual cup.
Folding: Fold the menstrual cup according to your preferred folding technique (you can try C-folding, U-folding, or tulip folding).
Insertion: Keep the cup folded and insert it into the vagina towards the back and slightly upwards. Make sure it is fully unfolded once inside.
Fitting: Gently twist the menstrual cup to make sure it is fully open and sealed against the vaginal walls.
Use: The menstrual cup can stay in place for up to 12 hours. Empty and clean the cup every 4-12 hours, depending on menstrual flow.
Removal: To remove the cup, gently insert your finger into the base to break the seal and then gently pull down. Empty the contents into the toilet and wash the cup before reinserting it.
Cleaning: After each menstrual cycle, wash the cup with mild soap and water. If necessary, sterilise the cup again before storing it.
