The blood glucose meter is pretty simple to use and gives a reading easily. However the starting instructions are a little vague, It tells you to put the battery in, but does not mention it will automatically turn itself off this is expected, so when it says to hold the up and down buttons continuously, the device is not expected to be on before hand
