Nutrison MCT - 1000ml

Nutrison MCT is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutrison MCT is a 1kcal/ml, MCT rich tube feed for the dietary management of patients with fat malabsorption and/or maldigestion. Nutrison MCT is nutritionally complete in 1500kcal. Suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption; pre-operative preparation of undernourished patients; inflammatory bowel disease; total gastrectomy; dysphagia; bowel fistulae; disease related malnutrition.

Not suitable for infants. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.

Use with caution in children aged 1-6 years. Coagulation in the digestive tract, e.g. due to drug interaction, may occur. Careful monitoring is required.

Shake well before opening. Use at room temperature. Packs and OpTri bottles can be attached directly to a Flocare giving set. Maximum hanging time: 24 hours.

Water, maltodextrin, cow's milk protein caseinates, MCT oil (coconut oil, palm kernel oil), vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, emulsifier (soy lecithin), di potassium hydrogen phosphate, acidity regulator (citric acid), potassium citrate, potassium chloride, calcium hydroxide, choline chloride, carotenoids (contains soy) (ß - carotene, lutein, lycopene oleoresin from tomatoes), sodium L-ascorbate, potassium hydroxide, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, retinyl acetate, copper gluconate, sodium selenite, manganese sulphate, calcium D-pantothenate, chromium chloride, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, thiamin hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin, sodium molybdate, riboflavin, sodium fluoride, potassium iodide, phytomenadione. Allergy Advice: For allergens, see ingredients in bold.

12 months. Best before date: see top of Optri bottle.

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, close the OpTri bottle and store in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours. Discard any unused contents after 24 hours.
